  • Some of our clients are advertising firms and graphic artists--you know what to expect and how the printing process works, and generally give us exactly what we need.
  • Some of our clients are business people, administrative staff, students and others who are not as familiar with the commercial printing process.
  • The important thing to remember is that commercial printing is NOT the same as quick printing or the kind of prints/copies you get from a photocopier, laser printer or ink jet printer. Because the process is different, the format of the art we need to print for you is different.
  • Check our Electronic Art Guidelines page or contact us if you have any questions.
  • The terms below are pretty standard in the industry, and are provided here to prevent any confusion or misunderstandings.
  • We at Antonia Rose Printing promise to do whatever we can to help make your idea a reality and to ensure your satisfaction with your purchase.

Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal or a personal check. Checks must clear before any custom order is submitted.

Discounts and Coupons

We offer an additional 5% discount to nonprofit organizations--just let us know and we will take it off BEFORE your credit card is charged.

If you have a promotional coupon code, email us after placing your order with it and we will take off the discount BEFORE your credit card is charged. All of our orders are processed manually to ensure accuracy, so we will make sure we have all of your information before your credit card is charged. In addition, our cart sometimes does not properly calculate shipping; rest assured this is reviewed BEFORE your payment is processed and you will receive a correct invoice.

Cancellation Charge

All orders are considered firm and cannot be canceled without confirmation from the factory (press). If the factory authorizes cancellation, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee of $30 plus any accrued charges (artwork, proof, materials, and so on).

Artwork Guidelines and Charges

If you are in doubt about what type of artwork to submit, check our electronic art guidelines page. In general, we will do the best we can with the artwork you have submitted.

If you know that similar artwork has been submitted to another printer, it is best to give us that artwork or artwork in the same format. We prefer .tiff files, with color separations, at 600 dpi. If you have been working with a graphic designer, that firm or person should be able to supply you with artwork in an appropriate format.

We typeset printer fonts, a list of which is here. If your work is in a different font, we can either choose the best match, or you can convert your artwork so the type is converted to outlines (basically treated as a picture and not as type.) Remember, we are not doing digital printing or copying such as you do on your printer or at a copy shop--this is professional printing on offset presses, or using thermography or engraving. The process uses actual plates, results in a higher quality product, and requires different input.

If your artwork needs conversion or tweaking in order to work, we will charge $50 per hour for this work. If the total is less than $50, we will generally just do it and notify you later. If the charge is larger, we will contact you first. Please be aware that art conversion and requests for better artwork all delay your order processing.

Copyrights

When orders are printed to customer's specifications, the customer agrees to assume any liability resulting from actions or demands brought against the supplier for copyright infringement. When you choose to use art from our stock logo supply, we will assume liability for any claim of copyright infringement.

Overrun and Underrun Charges

Quantities over 500 Post-it note pads are subject to a maximum under/overrun of 10% and will be charged accordingly.

Production Rush Charges

If a production rush is required to complete your order by your deadline, that may be available for a charge. We will contact you for approval. Otherwise, normal production times given are accurate 90% of the time. If you absolutely need your product by a specific date, we need to be clear about that upfront and ensure that nothing gets in the way of that.

Shipping Charges

Standard shipping is UPS ground, which starts at $8.50. Faster shipping is available upon request, at an additional charge. Shipping is based on the weight of the items and the zip code of the delivery site. Antonia Rose Printing passes on the actual cost of shipping we are charged by the press or warehouse--we do not add any markup or handling fee.

Post-it Notes Only:

Heavy Ink

If 50% or more of the sheet is printed with a screen greater than 40%, there will be a "heavy ink" upcharge of 15%.

Special Inks

On quantities below 500 pads, there is a charge of $75 for special inks. On quantities above 500 pads, there is no special ink charge--we can do any PMS color for you. The exception is metallic and fluorescent inks, which have a $125 special ink charge.

Bleeds

Please include 1/8" bleed on your artwork for a bleed, otherwise leave a 3/16" margin around the edges.

 

Warranty and Limited Remedy

Antonia Rose Printing warrants that all products will reasonably conform to an approved proof and be merchantable at the time of shipment. If the customer declines a proof for any reason, Antonia Rose Printing warrants only that the products will reasonably conform to what was ordered, with the understanding that the quality will depend on the quality of the artwork provided.

THESE WARRANTIES ARE MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ANDY IMPLIED WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF A COURSE OF DEALING OR OF PERFORMANCE, CUSTOM OR USAGE OF TRADE. If any product is proved to be defective, Antonia Rose Printing's entire liability and buyer's exclusive remedy will be, at Antonia Rose Printing's option, 1) replacement of the quantity of the product which is defective; or 2) refund of the purchase price.

Limitation of Liability

Antonia Rose Printing shall not be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages based upon breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict liability or any other legal theory.

The foregoing Warranty and Limited Remedy and Limitation of Liability may not be changed without a specific written agreement.

Don't be misled: get the total price before you compare!

Antonia Rose Printing does not charge anything extra for set-up, file conversion, basic layout and design help, or even standard colored ink! Most printers charge extra for each of the above items. Our prices include everything but shipping, which starts at $9.50 for the first $75. We are confident that when you compare, you will find we offer better prices and service.
